Guess which province has a chronic shortage of professionals (Lawyers, doctors, engineers, etc.), but continues to require a written and spoken language test to operate? I'll give you a hint ... the language is French.
How stupid is this? A dentist loses his license to operate in Quebec because he fails the written portion of his LANGUAGE EXAM?!? No one worries about the fact that he's fluent in English, French, Persian, and Spanish. All that matters is he apparently doesn't write in French. Fucking morons. I'd say it's against the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, but Quebec didn't sign it. The treatment of any citizenry who's different in that province is appalling. If they had oil, the States could use their idiotic language laws as an excuse to invade.
